The one who is burning my country's flag, i'll kick him & hand him over to the authorities.
The one who is burning the religious book, i'll kick him & report him to the authorities. If they punish him, well & good. If they don't, surely God will take care of him on the day of reckoning.

I would go after the guy who burned my country's flag. Two things that I hate the most are burning of the flag of the United State and another is a Mexican waving Mexican flag in the States.

I don't have a holy book in either the sense of possesion or of reverence.
A flag is a piece of cloth, a symbol. I don't believe in squelching someone else's employing that symbol to express their displeasure.
Personally I see a flag as a symbol of all things, good and bad, about a country, so I woudn't burn one.

I don't see the important of either of them. A flag is a piece of cloth with colors on it. I don't have a holy book, it's better than burning a person of that belief. Why should I stop that person from expressing themselves.

Who cares? Let 'em burn - neither matters. As long as it's not the last copy of either one and the fire doesn't spread to something important, like housing, libraries, schools, people at the stake, and similar, there's no choice to be made. The main harm (insignificant but symbolic) is the increase in atmospheric carbon.

I'm an atheist, so I don't have any "holy" books.
I'm a Canadian, and if someone was burning the maple leaf, I would be annoyed, shake my head, and realize it was just some idiot trying to get attention. The flag is just a symbol. There is no law against it, and if there was, I would leave that to the police. i would be more likely to take some action against a litterer.
I guess your question doesn't really apply to me.

I would shake my head in sadness for the person who had so much hate in their heart towards either my religion or my country. There is nothing that happens in this world that's so important that you have to HATE someone else.
I'd go about my business and continue to have respect for both my holy book and my country's flag.

I would approach noone. Everyone has a right to express themselves. But those who would do unnecessary vigilance is as guilty as the flagburner and book burner. Last time I checked, there is no law against burning a flag or the holy book. I love my country and I'm a Catholic. But as long as no life was harmed or taken, let them express themselves.

I'm not Christian/Jewish/Islamic, for one. So, the Bible/Torah/Quran isn't important to me. You should never burn a book, though. Regardless, it's a priceless artifact.
I'm an American, but I'm embarassed with my country. Certainly, the things the flag represent honestly died long ago when corruption took over our government.
Regardless of these facts: I would have to choose neither. I, too, am a citizen of the world and think we should unite instead of fighting over our petty differences. It's all so superficial and, frankly, unimportant.

Neither. They are symbols of something greater than anything anyone could physically do to them. I'd be more pissed off at an American burning an American flag because of the men that gave (and are giving) their lives for them to have that right. Seeing non-Americans burn the flag doesn't mean anything to me. As far as burning the Bible goes, I don't think God needs my help to defend Himself or give someone what they deserve if He sees fit.

This is a tough choice because I don't believe in book burning (regardless what book it is), but at the same time the flag has meaning for me that's sentimental and symbolic. I'd approach the flag burner.
