The gospels cover almost 4 years of ministry, so he was 29 to 33 in those final years.
Some of the answers above hint at the details, here is as much as we know:
According to the information given by Josephus, he would have been born in the winter of 5/4 BC (no earlier than October, no later than early March--most probable month is November based on when Herod was in Jerusalem).
The Gospel of John covers in good detail the occurrence of about 6 different Jewish holidays, some of which were Passovers. Based on that information, Jesus' ministry was a little longer than 3 1/2 years.
Jesus died on the first night of Passover, 30 AD (usually fell in March).
From November 5 BC to March 30 AD is:
2 months of 5 BC
4 full years 4 to 1 BC
29 full years 1 to 29 AD
2 or 3 full months of 30 AD
So Jesus' ministry would have begun in the late spring or summer of 27 AD when he was 29 1/2 years old.
(Luke 3:23 does not say he was 30, it says he was "about" 30--my Greek version confirms this was an estimate.)

He started at 12 years old, received the holy spirit at 29-30yrs. This is when he started his missionary work.

He preached for 3 and a half years. Approximately 30. He died on Nisan 14, but no one is sure of his birthday. The Bible doesn't mention it. But we do know that he died on Nisan 14 when he was approximately 33 and a half years old.
