Your odds of winning are definitely better with a scratch off. You can improve your odds een more if the state keeps updated info on the different ticket types. Some state lotteries will tell you how many of each prize are left, so if the big prizes have already been won, choose a different type of ticket that has more prizes remaining.

The odds aren't good really for either one, however, a scratcher would give you more of a chance of winning. You may only win small amounts, but you do have the chance of scratching the big one. Cheers.

You have better odds at a scratch off but you're not going to win as much on a scratch off so that's the trade off. Good luck.
