Yes, Johnny Cee and See The Light, 1Corinthians 13 is very profound as well. The KJV uses the word "charity", but the meaning of that word has shifted slightly in the last 400 years: I think Paul was talking about "compassion, altruism". And he is spot on there.

My favourite book in the bible is Matthew Chapter 5. The best book is not included in the bible, the Gospel of Thomas. A must read book.
Let me give you a few quotes:
108 Jesus said, "Whoever drinks from my mouth will become like me; I myself shall become that person, and the hidden things will be revealed to him."
113 His disciples said to him, "When will the kingdom come?"
"It will not come by watching for it. It will not be said, 'Look, here!' or 'Look, there!' Rather, the Father's kingdom is spread out upon the earth, and people don't see it."

Ecclesiastes is good since it talks about the meaning of life. That is the one I'm reading now. But no, I haven't got a favorite book of the bible.

Ecclesiastes is good, as well as Proverbs and James. All 3 give practical advice on how to live right and improve your relationship with God and your fellowman!

In the Hebrew scriptures, Amos is my favorite. In the New Testament, it's James. They both keep religion honest.

I like John. But one of my favorite verses is 1 Cor 13:-
John is the apostle of love. And this verse tells about love.

Honestly, for me the best part is the one I just finished reading. Every time it's like reading it again for the first time because I understand so much better.

My favorite book is the Bible itself. :o) Don't hold any one book above the rest. If I was it would have to be the 67th book... the Book of Life.
