I guess it would depend on why or what they had to say no to you for, and how rudely or patronizingly they said it. I myself would not show them my middle finger, but that is just my opinion. I think if I really needed them to say yes ,I would tell them that I understood the N and the O , but I just did not get the Y E S in the middle . Mature behavior , might get a better respond than a more aggressive one.
Good luck with your middle finger , if you use it too much it will not have the same strength in use or meaning.
