My cat is chewing through all my wires and cables (cpu, tv, etc.), some of which are pretty expensive. How can I stop her from doing this? Thanks!

Put something distasteful on the cord to discourage chewing. Substances to try: tabasco sauce, cayenne pepper, Bitter Apple/Orange, nail-biting nailpolish, orange/lemon peel. One taste of something truly offensive to the cat and he will be cured of chewing on crds for life!

If you cannot find a substance that will repel your cat, you may wish to use gaffer's tape to secure exposed cords.Gaffer's tape comes in a variety of colors and you will probably be able to find something relatively inconspicuous. (Duct tape can also be used, but it's pretty messy and hard to clean up if you're moving out of an apartment. Consider permanent wiring if you own your place: installment behind walls, etc.

use Bitter Apple. It's a spray that you can rub on your wires or anything to stop the cats from chewing on it. My cat ustu chew on all kinds of wires until I used this stuff. it works great and you can buy it at pet stores or walmart.

If you bite your nails, you can get a solution to put on them that tastes terrible, stops you from chewing them.
Buy a bottle and paint your wires, Cat will taste it once and remember forever.

Actually, If you have spray on deodorant, spray that on, it tastes terrible as well.

I'm sure that once your cat hits that 120 volts in the wire he will never want to chew another.

How old is she by the way? I know dogs do that but cats???When you catch her chewing them teach her a lesson .A light pat on the mouth would do and scold her. Do that every time she does it. In time she will remember.
