I hate trashing my 2-3 week old ice-cream, how to I stop ice fronts from getting into my ice-cream?

get a pieceof saran wrap. after you scoop out icecream cover remander with wrap placing directly on top so there is no air. refreeze. this should stop it.

Soften ice cream a little when you bring iy in from the store. Spoon into 3 or 4 plastic containers with tight lids. Fill containers to the very top (no air space). Replace lid. Store upside down in freezer. Use the same container till it's all gone, then you can open a nice fresh one. Also, you might want to use stackable containers. Good ice cream eating!!!

the water vapor inside the air inside the box freezes, u cant prevent it but put the ice cream box inside a bag, it will buy u some time

i believe it is due to the fact that you open your freezer too much. the extra vapors or air gets in the box and somehow does it i learned it in 6th grade but forgot. its been like 9 years.

I just eat it like that, or you can just scrape it off.
