I am new to Yahoo Answers.
I am a Catholic and live in Australia and have 5 beautiful children (2 sets of identical twins) 3 boys and 2 girls
This site was recommended to me for something to do as I have broken my leg and will be out of action for a few months

Can you please tell me what faith you are and where you are from?

Also what have you got out of Yahoo Answers personally?

I'm an Atheist, and I'm from South Africa.

I find that I'm entertained and enlightened by some of the posts on Y!A, and annoyed and infuriated by others. It becomes kinda addictive.

Get well soon. We could get along pretty well, despite our differences... as long as no mention is made of Cricket or Rugby.

I am from America. I was raised Catholic until I was 5, then my mom started going to a Baptist church. I was so confused as a teen that I didn't know what to believe because each religion is so different, but also has similarities. I finally decided to take what I learned from both and do my best. I guess you could say that I'm Non-Denominational.

I really enjoy reading the opinions of others. It can be fun and make me laugh. Sometimes I come across some disturbing posts or answers, but most people seem to be pretty "normal" I am the type of person that gets along with most everyone. I also find it easy to ask questions that I would not be willing to ask people I know.

I do hope you feel better soon!

I am a Catholic also, and live in the North Eastern corner of Maryland in the U.S. The town is actually called North East. I am 44 yrs old and have gone back to college. This site helps me a lot. If I don't understand something usually in Chemistry or Math-Algebra, I post a question. Some teachers answer or people that know what they are talking about. 5% of the answers are incorrect, because they aren't the same answers as the majority, or the answers just don't make sense when I apply them. In return, I answer questions about subjects that I am knowledgeable about. It is good if you go back to your questions after I think 4 hours and choose a best answer. That person earns up to 10 extra points, and it encourages people to answer questions intelligently. It is a point system thing that is self explanatory. Hope you heal quickly and get back on your feet. Good Luck!

Well I'm from the US, and I am a Wiccan. But I will tell you that Yahoo Answer is a very great place to ask for opinions and help others answer their questions. You can read questions of things you know and answer something for someone who doesn't. Also you could find out some more good sites to entertain yourself while you are layed up. I wish you the best and I hope your leg heals quickly. Any other questions, feel free to ask. Have a Great Day.

I hope you have someone to help with your little ones :-) I am a born again Christian. I haven't found a particular denomination yet. I was attending a Christian & Missionary Alliance Church for about 3 years before I moved. I have been looking into the Episcopalian Church because I want to immigrate to England. I am on this site because I like to give advice and hopefully eduacate some of the atheists, agnostics, & others that not all Christians are walking around like we are holier than thou. I do hope that you have a speedy recovery! I am in Tennessee, USA

I am originally from Finland, and I currently live in the USA.
I wish you a fast recovery. Go ahead and open up also 360 page, that is cool.

I attend regularly a non-denominational Christian church where the Bible is the center of the teaching and they lead people to a life changing relationship with God. I have a Lutheran background, but I do not follow any religion now. I got baptized as an adult.

I love to share my faith here. I also learn a lot from people. And I have made many good friends from different faith groups.

Welcome here. Do not take insults too personally. This is a nice place when you use a filter. : )

I'm a protestant Christian in the United States. And what I think I've gotten out of it, other than entertainment, is hardheadedness. I've learned to take criticisms both deserved and undeserved, shrug my shoulders, and keep typing. I've also learned that I can find common ground occasionally with people who stand at very different viewpoints from my own.

I am without any religious faith, and live in Ballarat, Victoria. Yahoo answers, apart from giving you answer to specific questions, also gives you (and gives me) a better understanding of other peoples viewpoints. Often a yahoo answers question turns more into a long one sided debate. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
