My son did that as soon as my second baby arrived he regressed and didnt want to learn how to be potty trained any more he would pee but he stopped pooping on the toilet so we just took away suckers and he would get a sucker if he pooped on the potty we would set him on it while we were going and we would tell him we were pooping and he should be a big boy and he would get a sucker and that worked out just great.

2 is still little. Don't push her as you'll get probs later on. All kids are different. Try putting her on potty every couple of hours or half an hour after drinking, loads of praise and a sticker or choc button when she does something. Buy her some Big Girl Underwear and make a big deal about how grown up it is. Chances are she won't want to get it wet. Some kids will go to 3 1/2 in pullups and thats normal.Try not to get upset if she has an accident and if she does, put her on potty. Good Luck!!

If se knows she needs it, simply put her in pants then she will not like it if she wets.

But to be honest trying to get her out before the baby is born is a bad idea, i would wait until the baby was here a few months, she is only 2, and dealing with a new baby never mind coming out of nappies/pull ups.

18 months is still very young and not many kids are out of nappies by the age of 2!!!!! and some still at 3!!
when she is ready she will start using the potty or some kids just go to toilet instead. I have 3 kids. My first was out of nappies by 2years my second had just turned 3 and my last child was also just over three.

She is probably feeling insecure with the impending arrval of her baby brother or sister. Do not push the point with her at the moment. Wait a few months and see how she is then, but still encourage her to use the potty. With lots of praise she will eventually be potty trained. Not all children are the same and learn these things at different ages. Good luck!

Put her in pants for a few hours in the day and that way she will discover what its like to not have a pull-up on ........you may have a few accidents so be prepared. Have a few potties upstairs and downstairs andperhaps have her in the garden for those hours she doesnt have her pull-up.

I read somewhere that pull-ups defeat the purpose of potty training as it discourages them from learning what their bladder does.

i agree that she is young yet and may take a bit of time..but i would save the pull ups for outings only and get her in pants, with the pull ups they cant feel that theyve been until they get very full. most dont like wet cold pants and learn pretty quick, but she just may take more time than your others..best of luck

Buy her some special knickers with her favourite character on them see how that works, tell her she's such a big girl, and your so proud of her give her a special sticker when she goes to the toilet, and really praise her.
