me and my kinda BF are trying to reconcile, but untill he can let go that i broke up with him, no one at his school knows we are trying to work things out. is this an ok situation, or am i setting myself up 2 get hurt?

Sounds like your setting yourself up to get hurt. Unless you did something to embarrass him and hes afraid of what his friends might think (or maybe he did a lot of trash talking about you and doesn't want to look like a dope)But if you care about someone you don't want to keep it a secret you want the world to know that you love or in your case care about that person.

You sound like he has someone else..! Otherwise why would you keep it a secret! The rest is obvious..yes your either together or not!
