ok my friend got a kiss on the cheak from her boyfriend. she keeps on asking me if that would be concidered a first kiss. she driving me insane! but i dont know if that would be concidered a first kiss. do u know?

a first kiss is supposed to be special. the kiss on the cheek your friend got was probably just a goodbye kiss or a hello kiss. a gentle kiss on the cheek is not a first kiss. a first kiss is supposed to be open mouthed between two people that love each other and or are gonna do-it later down the road of life after they get married.

It's not a real first kiss till your lips touch and you feel the whole world stops and the angels sigh.
Hold onto that memory forever girls! Cause when your older, kisses just are not all that exciting any more. It is sad how much innocence gets lost so damn fast.

Isn't a fist kiss considered to be on the lips? Anybody can give a kiss on the cheek, but it also depends on her. Was that her first kiss from a guy? So it pretty much depends on her whether she wants to view it as her first kiss, but when she gets a kiss on the lips and when it becomes intimate, then she will refrace "first kiss".

in reality, it could be the first time that someones lips touched your friend's face but it is not a first kiss in the romantic setting. The french kiss each other all of the time of cheeks, like how we shake hands. But a first kiss should be something special, lip to lip contact in my opinion.

I remember my first kiss and it's usually on the lips. A cheek kiss could be a good friend, brother, parent, etc.....
A first kiss is memorable, heck it's been over 20 years now and I still remember mine and how it made me feel.

I have many people kissing me on the cheeks...like relatives, friends....
I agree it might be sweet for a boyfriend to kiss her love on the cheeks but it`s not a first kiss
First kiss is when someone kisses you on the lips...lips to lips contact

I would not consider that a first real kiss. I mean we kiss our parents on the cheek. A real first kiss is lips to lips. Ah...the memories of firsts...

It depends on what the feeling was. theres no dictionary definitions in any parts of relationships. If she enjoyed it and it made her feel all crazy inside then why cant it be her first kiss. Mine was in Kindergarden (:-P) but thats a sperate issue. Try not to define relationships based on progress and dont worry too much. Just tell her to chose if she thinks that, and then to enjoy her relationship! good luck!
