Preferably acoustic, but anything good. Both of us are new to playing with other people, but we can learn from tabs pretty good. Both of us like classic rock.

For solo's - stairway to heaven by Led Zepplin, Bohemian rhapsody by Queen.

For slow songs, maybe Nothing else matters - metallica.

If you're thinking of playing music with just two of you, most anything will work with two guitars.
One thing that will catch the audience's ears would be the vocals.
Simon & Garfunkle had many great songs you could do.
America had quite a few good songs both vocal and music wise for two.
CSN&Y had tons of songs you could do acousticly.
Also check out California Guitar Trio. Three people playing acoustic guitars with songs ranging from Yes (Heart of The Sunrise), The Ventures ( Caravan, Walk Dont Run),Queen (Bohemian Rhapsody) and many others.
All very great renditions of those songs on acoustic guitars.
Good Luck

Suite Judy Blue Eyes, by Crosby Stills Nash and Young...though there may actually be three parts going there but I am sure it can be done with two guitars. Then there's Patience, by Guns N Roses.

"Hotel California" by The Eagles has a great duet at the end. "Gimme Three Steps" by Lynyrd Skynyrd is a good trade-off solo.
