One cannot make rules like this when serving God. We are our Brothers keeper and we are instructed to put our Brothers and Sisters first. However God is a bigger God than man can imagine.Organized religion would put Him in a box and makeup rules for this situation. The Holy Spirit sent Peter to Cornelius's house. This was against the rules for a Jew to be with a Gentile but God is bigger than the rules of man.
We also have the story of the good Samaritan.

I am tempted to say (a)

I feel I should worry first about maintaining a harmonious personality. (I may take you to the hospital to get mended, but if I constantly blame the person who injured you, then I have done damage to our souls.)

Jesus said, "If you do not forgive others, then, your father in Heaven will not forgive you".

Then when we are born again into a personality and justice system of acknowledging that we must never hold a grudge, then we can branch out and be our brother's keeper. Else, it might be like the blind leading the blind. -- smiles
