so they don't waste a special trip to hospital or Dr. and cost extra money.
Although I would think it is worth it or they should at least make a call into the doctor and see if it is something to worry about rather than trust people they don't know to give them the right advice.

Why do people ask questions on here? Can't they just look to up in a book, or call a friend? Come on, I just asked a question about my sick kid, He has a cold, It's the middle of the night. Last time I looked the doctors office is not open it the middle of the night and I'm not taking him to the ER for a cold. I just wanted some advice from experienced parents. Why do people always ask, "Could I be Pregnant? How the hell are we supposed to know? Take a dam Test and Find out, and quit having unprotected sex if you don't want to be. Please ask questions on here all the time about their health, I hope to God people don't take everything you say on here seriously. If they do I feel sorry for them.

Obviously you are not a parent! It is just a cold, but when your child and You are up all night any suggestions are worth a try. As a Mom you want to help your child any way you can. it's heart breaking to watch my son rub his eyes and cry but is unable to sleep because he is coughing.
I will sorry for you.

If in doubt I always take the kids to the doctor, especially when they where babies, however I always asked my mum or my uncle (he's an ambo) their opinion first. Asking here is the same thing. People just want reassurance and to be calmed down if they are stressed by what is wrong. When I answer questions like that I always recomend taking the child to the doctor just to be sure nothing serious is wrong.

I know that is my pet peeve in here. They say things like my child has a temp of 104 and trouble breathing, things that obviously need a doctor and they get on here and ask for advice. How come anyone can have kids? Some need to step up to the plate and be better parents.

B/c not everything requires a doctor.. a baby may just have constipation .. youre not going to rush it to the doctor when you could just give it some kayro syrup and lay a warm rice bag on its little tummy. some people say kayro syrup isnt good to give to a baby but everyone has their "home remedies" and they seem to work.. most women have a natural instinct on what their child is crying for... and most of the time you can fix it yourself or ask a friend and its easier than rushing to the doctor like they were deathly ill.

baby's trouble is too painful to bear for a mom, they need someone to be by their side.& at times some home remedies r better than making ur child taking in innumerable anti biotics, thth's not good for their health.y not to take help from yahoo friends???????
