Cut yourself some slack. None of us are perfect, especially when it comes to eating right.

If it feels like the more pressure you put on yourself to be a certain weight the more you "mess up" on eating right then you need to figure out why that is.

Have a talk with yourself. Is the weight you think you should be really realistic for you? If it is, then take a look at what your diet looks like. Are you eating things that sabotage your control? High-fat high-sugar diets are really run away railroads for most people. Eating more nutritious high fiber foods such as whole grain breads and cereals, plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits and lean meats along with a little healthy fat such as what is in salmon and olive oil help you keep control naturally and stay satisfied too.

When your cycle approaches, you need to be mindful of your salt and sugar and caffeine intake. If you crave chocolate during this time, try a cup of hot cocoa instead of a candy bar.

Anyway, the trick is to know ahead of time what you are going to do. Plan ahead and allow healthy snacks to be a part of your diet plan so that you won't get frantically hungry.

And you really do need to find out why you have chosen food as your difficult issue. Once you figure out why you use food to comfort you, you will have more control over your eating.

Good Luck!

It is normal for body weight to fluctuate by several pounds or a kilo or 2 on a day to day basis. Weight gain prior to menstration is also normal due to the fluctuations in your hormones that cause water retention. You should probably not weigh yourself on a daily basis as it can be frustrating and demoralizing. Weigh yourself once (or at max twice) a week.

If you are feeling very emotional or stressed your period may be delayed by a few days. If you are late and if you have concerns, (i.e. _any_ sexual intercourse) please check a pregnancy test or see you physician.

While sticking strickly to a diet would be the ideal, it is not possible, and may be counterproductive. Everyone has bad days and indulging for one day is not the end of the world.

Resolve to try harder tomorrow and take a nice walk. Look up an old friend, go watch a movie (skip the popcorn), go dancing, go to a museum, read a novel, or plan a vacation. What's fun for you?

be nice to yourself, i know it is really hard to deal or handle hating yourself b.c of how much you ate or the way you look or how much you weigh. but you can't let that get you down. you should make the decision to diet or exercise and stick with it make yourself motivation help like a friend who encourages you to work out like someone willing to go work outwith you. and just watch what you eat. substitute coke zero ro diet drinks or sugar free drinks instead of regular coke. use lean cuisines or smart ones as dinner instead of whatever. you may want to make yourself a diet journal where you write down what you ate all day before your diet and then once you start dieting and you will prob see a big difference. but you can't be too hard on yourself b.c if you eat less it will take your stomach sometime to shrink.
