You can go to a tanning salon and ask if they have a burn relief lotion or gel that is made to take out the sunburn and heal what has been damaged. The best ones are Insurance made by California Tan. or there is an aloe gel that Australian Gold has.

Hope you know someone that has a Aloe Vera plant just break some off the plant and use the green goo from inside!
You just rub onto affected area
This works great on your face I use it for all sorts of burns and stings also it has great healing properties and should help you with redness.
If not you can try warm water and vinegar stings at first but i remember my mother using vinegar on me when i was a child .
hope this has helped you

Many lotions have alcohol in them, which will cause burning and may actually cause sensitive skin to be more dry. Find a product with aloe, or with vitamin E and no alcohol.

Saturate a wash cloth in cold milk and put it on your face until the coldness is gone about 10 minutes. Wash your face with just cold water and then apply Noxzema (in the pump bottle-thinner and easier to apply) to your face.

injesting lots of water is the biggest thing, a couple baths or showers a day. aloe vera, if the lotion your using is oil based it could be counter productive for you, water based is better for sunburned skin.

try aloe. It'll cool your skin and the cooling will help the redness go down. Also, when you wash your face try using cold/tepid water. Warmer water could irritate your skin more. I burn easily, and the aloe trick has always helped me.

tea tree oil works. it'll burn like crazy at first (air helps) it won't hurt after. if you don't want to do that try a cold compress.
