The problem is that if it's free then it's illegal. If it's illegal then it's full of viruses. If you want to avoid viruses, your only option is to use legal download services instead of stealing.

I was having a very big problem with music download companies such as Ares, limewire and etc. ( Because they are free and free means lots of viruses and spyware ) Since I have signed with MyKazaaGold.com I am happy with this and I find all my songs to download and this company also provides Technical Support for the “MyKazaaGold” software and which is a virus and adware free. No other companies help you with their software. I think you should go and signup today and start downloading music right away. Click the link below to visit the website http://www.mykazaagold.com

laura i do not want to say this, but as a tech. for IBM it is not possible, 1st you must understand that there is a very big dif. in viruses, much like with humans, even though it's a machine it will pick them up by being in contact, so each plc. you go if you do not take the righ precautions, you will more than likely end up w/a virus! anyway opposed to limewire i prefer kceasy, download it you'll like it, also download adaware se which will scan your system and do it 2x a wk. and twice a day does not hurt. run a full system scan and get rid of all corrupt files. this will keep you os virus free!! enjoy and good luck!!!

ok, first... 3000 MB is wayyyy to big (that is 3 gigs, about 4-5 movies combined) what I done was used a torrent to download limewire pro (instead of the basic free service), it's safer, faster, always turbo charged- and just overall... better, also- there are alot less spyware programs and virus's.

I agree with the person that said 3000 MB, but simplify that number down to about 5-7 MB (which is about normal for one song), and make sure that you have all of your computer security running when you download any free stuff (just in case).

Keep dreaming. Almost nothing is virus free anymore. Get yourself some good firewall, spyware, all that kind of software that is good, there are great free ones on downloads.com I believe. The stuff that came with your computer probably isn't that great. Anyway if you are that freaked out about viruses just buy music.

"There is no such thing as a free lunch"

You can download stuff the legal way (iTunes) or the illegal way (limewire ect). With limewire you get what you pay for.

A great place for great music, I would suggest, is www.imeem.com. Of course you can't download them, but they will always be there when you need it. Til the Music Industry shuts them down lol.
