Sounds like your son is in pain or uncomfortable. It could be many different things. He could be picking up on your stress which could be the problem, or the stress could be aggravating other issues. His stomach could be upset (colic, or reflux) or an ear infection. It's too early for teething. My first-born was very fussy and it was hard on both he and I. You might want to check with a doctor to see what he/she thinks. Can you telephone your baby's doctor even though you are staying with your in-laws? A phone consultation may make you feel better or the doctor may offer suggestions that this group can't, or let you know you need to take your baby to a doctor.
Good Luck to both of you.

You said it yourself change in environment and routine can be the culpret. He may be overstimulated with the inlaws around, maybe picking him up more or in his face alot. Babies can pick up on moms stress too. Try to convey to the inlaws that the baby needs some quiet time throughout the day and try to keep to the same routine that you had before you moved in. If this doesnt work, then know that it should get better once you move back home. If not see your sons doctor and let them examine him.

Well, your baby can develop colick still! Depends on the bottles, and the formula, if you formula feed. He could be allergic to milk protien. You can get the Similac Nutrimegen (sp?) formula, it does well. My daughter went through something like this. She is now 4 months old and just growing out of the fussy stage! It will drive you up the wall but just hang in there! Also, you may want to go to the Dr. or try gas drops. Sounds like he has gas or has a small bit of colick to me! Good luck and CONGRATS!

no longer something is "unusual" for a 10 week previous infant, they're nevertheless getting used to being in the exterior international. Alot of toddlers do conflict by way of a significant growth spurt around 2 months so if he's likewise dozing and eating alot which would be it. in basic terms being someplace diverse could be it and your stress could do it, you under no circumstances can particularly tell while they're that little they conflict by way of diverse ranges each and all of the time of what works and what does not.

When my son was a baby and we would go and spend a night at my sister's or mom's it is like he knew we were not home. He would not sleep and would cry.
I thought something that had to be it because he wouldn't go on like that while we were home. When we went home the next day he was not at all fussy. I think they know they are not home.

Babies like their routine and they like to feel secure. You are stress and he senses it plus people are probably fussing with him and trying to hold him and play with him and that stresses him out even more. Take some time to sit in a comfortable chair with him and let him sleep on your shoulder. This will give both of you time to comfort each other and get some rest.
Sing to him and tell him you love him; they love to be sung to and sweet talked.

If there are no other symptoms, it's probably gas.
