I have almost given up as well. I am a sweet, caring, funny guy yet. So alone if only women could give me a chance to see it.
Just do not give up I am only 21 yet have had no luck even getting a girlfriend I have had some in my life...... ok well 2. (Ha ya I know what ya'll are thinking laugh it up). But you know even though I am so hurt, sad, lonely, mad, and feeling like I have nothing left to carry on with I somehow keep trying to carry a smile and keep going with every last bit of hope and pride I have left inside of me. Just remember you still have time as well as I do. I am a very decent man so we are still out there.
Just keep ya head up
And I hope you find a good decent man
Best wishes

I really think you need to work at it.
I started using online dating services and decided I was going to go out with alot of guys to find the one. I started setting up five dates every weekend I was free and some during the week too. I didnt waste my time if something, even a little thing didnt feel right about the connection.
I met lots of interesting people, had some fun, felt like I was wasting my evening sometimes, but in the end I found a really great guy. I am now married.
I think if you look at finding a mate like finding a job, it can happen.
I didnt let looks or height or even occupation keep me from meeting someone. I wanted to meet as many different men as possible to find the one. And when I found him... it was kind of magical, but moreso he was the one I couldnt really find anything wrong with.
Believe me I didnt settle. I found someone I adore, who adores me, who is kind and generous (not just to me, but to just about everyone). He is handsome, smart, kind of ordinary too and super sexy.
It can happen, but you have to work at it.

honestly, i think love will come to you when you're at this point in your life where you're simply content with where you're at - content with being the happy, single independent woman you are - when you feel that you can only depend on yourself and you don't need a man for anything. At the same time, it's also a point in your life where you LONG for love the most but simultaneously believe you will be fine without it. That's when love will come to you.

I also feel this way at times. I see women with less to offer get the guy of their dreams. Some days I'll think that there is hope, other days I consider getting a pet, and growing old. Keep your head up and hopefully one day we will get what is due to us.

Actually, I've found the perfect person but can't be with her. But that's life.
