i think first of all looks and then personality

To be honest, everyone looks first. After that, personality, and what both of you have in common. Good point also, HONESTY is the best key in a relationship. Other than that, make sure your personality is what you would like in a partners. As my father told me while I was young,
"You go to bed with the body, but you wake up with the personality."

Let's face it, what draws both men and women are looks. But looks alone won't hold. It takes personality. And each of us has different tastes, fortunately. So, what I look for are qualities of self-reliance, self-confidence, awareness of the world, a spiritual life (as opposed to a "religious" life), at least one passion for something, a willingness to experiment and to continue learning, preferably good health, reasonably athletic. adventuresome, sense of humor, and most important, comfortable in her own skin.

the most common thing all guys in look for in general is confidence - doesn't necessarily mean the slutty girl who's always loud, outgoing, and gets drunk with the guys - confidence in the sense that she's comfortable with who she is as a woman. She could be the quietest woman but if she sends off that vibe that she's comfortable with who she is - the way she carries for her self - that's confidence ;)
