I live in Salt Lake.
My favorites are Valley View, Bountiful RIdge, and Wasatch Mountain State Park. These are all very reasonably priced courses.
For something challenging, try Thanksgiving Point. Give it a couple of months, though...the greens aren't very playable right now.

while I agree with Thanksgiving Point being #1.....I'd also add Mountain Dell & Wingpointe. But there's like 30 courses in and close to SLC....Play em all lol
