Why do her friends call me on her phone?

I like this girl, but after we make plans to hang out, her freinds are always the ones to call me, on her phone. Usually we go to a bar and her friends and my friends are there. Her freinds definetly like me, but it just seems weired to me cause i expect her then have to figure out which of her friends it is.

Someone is playing games with you both. It sounds like a jealous friend, who doesn't want you two, to be alone together.
