Yeah, it always confused me that God is apparently very very concerned with the sex lives of all the little human critters on earth. I thought goodness and compassion ranked up there but noooooooo... it's all about who's doing it missionary and who's doing it devil-style!

You are right in a sense. God does value how we treat each other, but actually God is interested in every part of our lives. He is not too busy, or uninterested. Also our "dingle" is not unimportant. Incorrect usage contrary to God's plan often results in very unpleasant consequences(STD's, pregnancy, guilt, and emotional baggage). He gives us guidelines to avoid those outcomes. "There is a way that SEEMS right to a man, but in the end leads to death." I recommend you listen to what God says is important, and not what you think He should find important.

Our focus is skewed. Our current state of christianity is more the result of 2000 years of tradition and mans opinion than it is what Jesus presented to us.
So I'd agree.

well if WE weren't so much more interested in our special bits than we are in the way we treat our fellow man, maybe things would have looked differently in the Christian teachings as well... :)

first off, my bits are not nasty.
second, i agree, no one cares what you do, until you get diseased. then you should stop sex.
(thats the reason that pre-marital sex is frowned upon. all the different sexual partners increase the circulation of disease)
