No, sadly Job's trials were in vain. Without a control group there is no accounting for whether that could have just been a coincidence or if he just didn't like THAT wife and THOSE kids. Another study will have to be done with a control, and there will need to be a couple of test groups to negate any effect of the study itself.

God has a reason for testing Job and it wasn't for a scientific test. Try reading Job and find out why God was testing Job.
