When judgement day comes, I think that the non-believers will be taught about God, and then given the opportunity to repent and join the believers. Those who still don't believe will go to Hell.

What's so wrong with life that people need something better? I am a non-believer in Christianity, but I still believe in God(s). I see nothing wrong with life (I quite enjoy it actually) and have no desire to have my conciousness live on forever. But if it does it does and if it doesn't - so be it. I'm not too concerned with death and an afterlife. I also believe we can have hope for something better in this world. If we concentrated our efforts more on making things better in the here and now, maybe so many people wouldn't be obsessed with death and an afterlife. I think living one's life for an afterlife is sad.

We believers cant actually judged non-believers coz it is written on the bible, dont remember the verse but it goes somethin like, "the judgement for all those who are not inside the Church built by God belongs to God alone", Coz its true, only god knows whats inside the heart of every single person, upto this moment, there are still lots of people dont know anything from God coz the teachings of God is not yet been preached world wide, so if they die without the knowledge of God, surely ,He knows what He is going to do with this people!

This is from the English translation of the Holy Qur'an, Surat 83, verses 10 to 17:
10. Woe, that Day, to those that deny --
11. Those that deny the Day of Judgement.
12. And none can deny it but the Transgressors beyond bounds, the Sinner!
13. When Our Signs are rehearsed to him, he says "Tales of the Ancients!"
14. By no means! But on their hearts is the stain of the (ill) which they do!
15. Verily, from (the Light of) their Lord, that Day, will they be veiled.
16. Further, they will enter the Fire of Hell.
17. Further, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which you rejected as false!"

1. I don't think there's going to be a judgement day. We will ruin the Earth eventually and it won't be able to support human life because of many reasons.
2. If the God you believe in (I believe in many gods) is in fact, THE God, and he is decent, he won't send me to hell. I don't care what the bible says. No good God would punish someone for eternity when they tried to be the best person they could be with the life God gave them.
3. If we want things to get better, WE need to make them better. We need to reach out to other people, help other beings, appreciate what we have. That's the best life to lead and you can't really have a better life than that. If you have that life you'll be satisfied. It's really within our own power.

I think this life is what we make it. We can make it heaven for each other, or we can make it hell. If we want a better place we have to make one.
I have a vague idea that we all have a kind of judgement day when we die based on what we have done in this life.
I think those who go around feeling like their religious beliefs are the only correct ones and condemning non-believers to hell are making this planet more miserable, not better.

As Christians we need to know what God's word says about this. In Revelation it tells us that all people who are not found in the lamb's book of life (believers in Christ) will be thrown into the lake of fire for all eternity. Not a good end, and certainly not one I would wish on anyone.

Accepting reality is something I have to do. It's not about attaining hope. Just because I want something "better" doesn't mean the concept of a god or an afterlife is any less logically impossible.

I'm afraid that at the judgement, non believers will be cast into the lake of fire along with Satan. This saddens me greatly and I pray every day for them, but I know that God is just in whatever he decides.

No, I'm going to one of the many halls in Asgard to be with my ancestors, my loved ones, and my Gods and Goddesses. I'll stay there until Ragnarök, then I get to go out in a blaze of glory. I do not want to live for all eternity, so this suits me just fine.
Don't assume all "non-believers" are atheists, I'm an Asatruar. ;-)
