Hey. How are you? Ever since we stopped talking, I had been going over everything in my head, trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. You know, I still remember what you said to me the last time we talked, the things you were mad at me about. I remember the first thing you said was that I harassed you. It's kind of funny really, that was the last thing I ever wanted to do to you but I guess I did anyway. If you said that because I called you every weeknight, it as only because when we were at school we'd only talk for two minutes. I never really got to talk to you when it'd be just me and you. Even when I called, someone else would always called. And then, I had a sort of "calling plan" you see, I would call you at 9 and if you didn't answer, I'd wait 1 hour and try again, and if you didn't answer I'd just talk to you the next day because I didn't want to bother you. I was always afraid that I was doing something wrong to make you not like me.

I also remember that you told me I obsessed over you. I guess I did and I'm sorry, But what boy wouldn't obsess over a amazing, wonderful, smart, talented, funny, beautiful girl like you? Especially if he did't want to lose you. A special girl like you is hard to find. No one else has your light brown eyes that sparkle when you're happy and fade away when you're sad. I still haven't found a girl with your bright smile.
I remember the last thing you said was I don't know you. You told me before that, when I was feeling down that you could tell something was wrong because you know me! I know I don't know everything about you, but I want to know everything about you. I really care about you and I need you. You're special to me. Without you, I just had to admit that I must be really stupid. I should have understood then what you were trying to tell me, that it wasn't anything wrong with me that you didn't like, it was you just didn't share those feelings for me that I had for you.

I've found out for myself it was better when you didn't like me in that way. Now that you don't like me at all, I realize that's worse. So, for all these three things I've done, I'm really sorry. I was just afraid of losing you, so I did. I only want us to start over, pretend this whole thing never happened and if necessary forget that there was any mention of romantic interest between us. Maybe we could chill and hang out somewhere sometime as just friends, because I know with you I don't have a chance. I just want your friendship back, if it's ok with you.

Guys and girls what do you think? Girls, would you talk to me again if you were her (I can handle the hard truth)? I just have this feeling if I try actually talking to her instead of ignoring her she might listen. We've been saying hi to each other occasionally

Are there any revisions I should do? make this shorter so I don't bore her?

Do I need to tell her this directly, email her, IM her (she just now signed on!), or call her?
optional-http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AksGv1xSiLY9kJN66iBQZTfsy6IX?qid=20070309113510AAvGeGi-this question would help to fully understand the situation but it's only slightly shorter than this

What I wrote is for me to practice saying to her over spring break, then I'll say it to her when I see her at school (I just don't want to mess up and forget my point and what I'm trying to say). I just need a better introduction so she'll pay attention to me

Should I message her "hi" if she's on? I'm nervous that she won't IM back

I forgot to add that after I mention her eyes I also want to say (I could get lost in your eyes; You're the reason I realized I like light brown eyes best on a girl)

Okay, the first part was amazingly sweet, but the last parts started to sound a bit too much... Okay, over the top. You need to expunge the parts where you express that you NEED her. By saying things like that, you're telling her that without her you're nothing. A girl doesn't want to be friends with a guy she doesn't have the same feelings he has for her if he's so darn attached. It scares her frankly. It also shows her that you're not someone who can stand on his own two feet. And do not IM this to her. Talking to her directly is all right. Sending a hand-written message is okay. Even email may be suitable.

Dude, my mistake with girls in middle school was trying to beg for their love like you have. What I've done now is act more chill. Don't think about her all the time, find something else. And don't you DARE say, "but oh i can't stop thinking about her i love her so much" boohoo. Girls like a strong confident man. Not a needy crybaby. One strategy you could use is just start ignoring her for awhile. Then she'll think, "hmm why doesn't he like me anymore? Have i stopped being attractive, maybe i should try harder to be attractive." And BINGO she'll pursue YOU. But really, the main thing you need to do is give her SPACE and act like she's not the only thing in your life. It will work, and if it doesn't you can still at least be friends which is better than nothing. The most important thing is that she needs to feel comfortable around you to like you and she can't do that if you are always like i love you do you love me? you're so beautiful. It'll start to sound like you don't mean it. Girls always need new things, they aren't happy with one thing too long, try different techniques to win her love.

Okay first off, I hope your not planning to send her that over the internet. Becasue if you do then everything you're saying has absolutely no meaning. Take it from a girl who's had mushy 'I love you and don't want to lose you' crap sent to her over the internet. And I say 'crap' becasue that's what it is when it's in an e-mail or over myspace.

And secondly it seems kinda fake. Like it's way too much to actually be taken seriously.
Sum it up in about 3 sentences.
Becasue I guarntee that if you send her that much writing, she's gonna read it lauging and forward it to her friends.
Just say,
"Sorry about everything that's happened in the past. I know that there's no chance of us bieng together anymore. You're such a great friend and i don't want to lose out friendship. I was wondering if we can still be friends."

I promise take it from someone who KNOWS. My four sentences will be taken a lot more seriously.
If you still want to be friends with her then take my advice.

Wow, i do not understand precisely what got here about between you 2 besides the undeniable fact that it truly is glaring that you care very a lot for this man or woman. i imagine you ought to deliver the letter. what's the worst which could take position. a minimum of you are able to get some type of nearer. reliable luck I wish you each and each of the perfect.

I agree with Tami. Just make it simple and short and don't sugarcoat anything. You do sound waaaay too obsessed, and that is not attractive to a girl who doesn't feel the same way about you. Tell her you're sorry for anything you've done to hurt her or the friendship, you miss her, and you want to be friends with her again. That's it---short and simple.

HEY PARTNER, YOU HAVE GOT AN ISSUE HERE--SERIOUSLY--READ WHAT I SAY--YOU BETTER TAKE IT SLOW AND THINK ABOUT IT---YOU ARE OBSESSIVE, AND MANIPULATING--AND USING A VERY SCARY TACTIC THAT I WOULD STOP USING--I MEAN STOP AND NO LONGER HAVE ANY COMMUNICATION WITH A GIRL THAT ALREADY HAS MADE IT CLEAR THAT SHE DOESN'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU. GOD, I HOPE YOU AREN'T SUICIDAL-- YOU HAVE ISSUES HERE--YOU DON'T GIVE AN AGE--BUT YOU NEED TO CONSIDER THE PITY AND DRAMA AS EXCESSIVE FOR A YOUNG MAN THAT SEEMS TO HAVE LEARNED A TERRIBLE WAY TO CONTROL A PERSON--SO SKIP THE SYMPATHY AND BOO HOO STUFF. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT IF ANY OF THIS STUFF WORKED ON HER---THEN WHERE WOULD YOU BE?? STOP CALLING, STOP MAKING DEMANDS, ACCEPT YOUR LOSSES, FIND A HOBBY.

you are obsessing, not only are half of the things you said very obsessive, but the thought that you would plan out THIS much to say to her is obsessive.

try:

"Hey, how's your day been? (cary on a short but meaningfull conversation about her day, then your day) then say you gotta go and (either hang up or leave)

I only read a few sentences but I think I know where your going with this. if you tell her all this your gonna shoot yourself in the foot! would you want someone you dont want to be with telling you how much they want to be with you. of course not if anything your just gonna push her further away. stop being a wussie, count it as a loss, move on and grow a sack!
