Insert a wooden toothpick into the quiche. If is comes out clean, the quiche is done. If it has clinging food on it, cook a little longer and test again. Let the quiche cool a little before slicing and serving it so it will cut pretty and not mash down and look ugly.

Insert a toothpick or knife into the center of the quiche. If it comes out clean it is cooked. If you have bits of egg or traces of filling clinging to the toothpick or knife then cook it five-ten minutes longer and check again.
The filling should not jiggle and should appear to be cooked not like raw egg. It will also puff up a little and brown over the top. Quiche can be cooked in about 30 mins so your recipe may be correct but it may also depend on your oven, altitude, baking dish...etc. I would say that most quiche recipes require 35-45 mins of cooking time but no more than an hour is usually needed.
use the incersion test to be absolutely sure. I know how you feel, I was nervous the first time I ever made one because you always hear..."don't eat uncooked egg!" My mother just told me to treat it like a cake and stick a toothpick in it and if it comes out clean then you are good to go!
I hope this helps! Good luck!

Quiche should really be started at 450 degrees for 10 minutes and then the oven turned down to 350 for another 25 to 30 minutes. You can test it by inserting a bread knife in the center of the quiche, if it comes out clean then it is done. Quiche should sit for 10 minutes or so after you take it out of the oven, this allows it set and makes it much easier to remove from the pan.

I usually wait till its just a little brown on top or you can do the knife in the middle test. If it comes out clean it is done. My quiche recipes normally take an hour at 350 degees.

you are able to tell by using how sloppy the blend is! it is going to set on the precise & the climate first, however the interior could be underdone. carry the climate of your quice pan & provide it a shufle, see if there is any flow? then you ought to apply finger tension, press down & see how lots 'provide' or resistance there is, would desire to be employer. in spite of this you ought to use a skewer, bamboo, purely push it in, take it out, see if it has roar egg on it in any respect, if it comes out gentle, or clings. Or a metallic skewer, push it in, convey it out & press it againstb your precise lip, if it rather is warm it will be accomplished. in spite of everything dont overcook your quiche the eggs will proceed to cook dinner, you are able to leave the quiche interior the oven for a million/2 an hour , with it became off & the residual warmth will cook dinner it via!
