They are God's chosen people, yet they insult him.
No because not only did they kill Jesus. They are god's chosen people, and spit on the face of jesus. They deny jesus is god. the king of kings. To be rewarded with such great gift from god, and to spit in his face. That is wrong.

Most believe Jesus was a prophet,they did not disrespect Him.
It was the Romans who killed Jesus.

There are so many reasons why this question (if you can call it that) is so wrong. You show your ignorance by asking this question (and others I saw on your profile) . First, "the Jews" didn't kill Jesus. The religious hierarchy (the Pharisees) used the Roman occupation to rid themselves of a threat to their power. Second, those who are Jewish, as other non-Christian religions (i.e. Muslims, Buddhists, etc.), have a different belief system. To say they're wrong only shows your lack of tolerance, which goes with your ignorance. So, you seem to be a well rounded red-neck. Good luck!

well sir, why do you believe everything mel gibson tells you? jews are not disrepsectful towards jesus. we acknowledge he existed, we acknowledge he was a member of our people. we did not kill him, the romans did. even if we did kill him we had grounds to do so. he broke the law by speaking out against the government and against the jewish commandments by disrespecting g-d. under the current law at the time the jews had every right to stone him yet he was crussifixed. also how can we be sure he is a gift from g-d? the jews do not believe he was the son of g-d. he was just a regular old joe who decided to speak out against the law and save some poor blokes life by taking his cross.

Do you honestly think your god wants you to hate your fellow man? I hate all religion equally, but the Jews have been treated badly throughout their entire existence as a people. I don't think they need to be criticized by people like you. At least they don't pass legislation to oppress people based on what their imaginary magical carpenter supposedly said 2000 years ago. I hate all religion, but do I go around asking why everyone who believes in god is so stupid?
By the way...hating religion does not necessarily mean you hate the people who believe it.

If you know your Bible and I assume you do, you should understand that God predicted via prophecy that the Jews would reject Jesus. I do not however believe that the Jews are disrespectful of Christ. They simply do not believe that he is the promised savior. Other prophecies say that eventually, many Jews will come to believe.

a few months ago i saw a well known rabbi on tv going to great lengths to prove that the new testiment account of Jesus couldnt be true. this really surprised me because christians are the best friends they have on earth(the nation Isreal). i understand if they dont believe, but i would just sit back and reap the benifits and keep quiet. if christians lose faith in Jesus their country is gone.

Are you trying to say that Jews are disrespectful because they reject Jesus as their promised Messiah? Maybe you should find out why they reject Jesus as their promised Messiah. Their reasons are quite compelling and strong.
Did you ever think that you are being disrespectful to their beliefs in the same way you accuse them of being disrespectful to Jesus?

Mmmm.... not every Jew is disrespectful. And anyway, even if the Jews killed Jesus, how is this relevant if Jesus was a willing participant in the process? It was like assisted suicide. Its not like Jesus didnt want to die.

and they didn't know that he was God. If they had realised and believed this, i doubt that they would have done it
but remember, Jesus had to die for our sins, it was foretold AGES before He even came to Earth

Jesus forgave those who crucified Him remember.....He said
"Father, forgive them. They know not what they do."

About them denying that Jesus is God, it's only natural that they do so. Imagine being brought up your whole life believing something, then someone else comes along and tells you that it's not true.
if people tell you that Jesus is not God, you will say YES HE IS!!!!
but if you tell Jewish ppl that Jesus is God, they say NO HE ISN"T!!!!
consider yourself lucky that you know the truth....

Because they are blinded to who He is. Most Jews anyway. There are some very fortunate Jews who do know that Jesus is their Messiah.
It's a sad thing to still see so many of His chosen people reject Him. But God will deal with them again one day.
