there are a lot of people here who ask questions like "why do catholics call themselves Christians?" and such and the like...the key to entering into heaven is believing and receiving JESUS CHRIST as personal LORD and SAVIOR of one's life and REPENTING (turning away from one's sins)..So what are people going to do when they get to heaven and find their next door neighbor was a catholic down here on earth? maybe the ones that have such a problem with the idea won't have to worry...they may not get there themselves..."work out your own salvation with fear and trembling"

Its not about supporting a dogma or a doctrine of a denomination or a church..its about the fact that I am a sinner saved by GOD's grace, nothing more. I have no right to tell anyone that they are not destined to heaven-GOD can touch and mend even the hardest heart-Including the Athiest...I don't know what GOD has in the future for anyone...all I know is that my job is to show the love of JESUS CHRIST to a lost and dying world...no where does the WORD tell me to do anything more than that.

There's no reason to assume that many Catholics do not have this personal relationship. Denomination will not matter in Heaven. The only issue I have with Catholism is the fact that Jesus says He is our great, high priest. I do not think any clergyman, pastor, or priest has power to absolve sin. We can, if we are truly saved, go boldly and directly before the throne of God. Jesus died to make this possible. I'll leave judgment of each soul to God above.

What we say concerning Heaven is conjecture unless we quote scripture so its quite possible that God sent Jesus to teach us how to get to heaven rather then 'die for all the sins' like a sacrifice because Heaven was under-populated. Then we can rest assured that there will only be rejoicing when anybody gets to heaven including the arrivee. The gnashing of teeth will occure elsewhere.
Practice what you preach may be why fear based religions such as Babtists and Catholics are popular but are they teaching us how to love others as Jesus teaches?

I'll be the first to admit that I do not understand or agree with a lot of the Catholic Church's teachings. But a person who believes in the divinity of Jesus Christ, that He lived and died for our sins and was resurrected, and will one day come again, and who furthermore has given his or her life over to Jesus and repented of sins, IS A CHRISTIAN. 'Nuff said.

Actually, the Bible says that on Judgement Day you will be judged on two main things in addition to believing -
One is whether or not you gave to others every single time they needed something.
The other is whether or not you have forgiven every single person who has ever wronged you.
I personally don't believe any of it, but those that do should be looking forward to some surprises if they have ever walked past a homeless person.
Other than that, I agree with ya. Catholics are Christians. Mormons are Christians. JW's are Christians... and so on and so forth.

Anyone who still supports the Catholic Church after all the times it has shown itself to be an inherantly evil organization deserves to suffer the same fate as it's evil leaders,if God were indeed a just God he would destroy the Catholic Church entirely.

No one knows without a doubt if there is a heaven. So don't be surprised reincarnation is the afterlife spoken of by the Bible.

I don't really think about what I'm gonna do. But, about what can I do? That is to treat everyone of them the same. If god don't judge why should we?
