If the gov't said there needed to be a rationing of gas to help support the tanks and aircraft in the war, how many of you would whine about it? If they told you had to ration your food to feed the soldiers, how much whining would you do about that? If you asked the military to protect you and they said no, because you can not even make sacrifices in your simple lives to help keep us free, how many of you would whine about that? Or how many of you would just let any foreign gov't or people come in and run this country just so it does not bother what you do on a daily basis?

Why do you ask this question if your going to make people feel bad about opposing you by laying down a guilt trip? And to be honest It depends on the war and varying circumstances. This is why I hate politics. Everyone feels as thought there right and everyone else is wrong. Nobody like this can have an open mind.

I would feel it's about time. War without sacrifice is a dangerous business. The stupidist move of the anti-war movement in the 70's was to push for elimination of the draft. War is a painful and expensive proposition, to be avoided if possible and never to be taken lightly.

i honestly dont understand y ppl say the war is for our freedom, we been having freedom since the american revolution back in the day with britain.

so if i dont find a reasonable reason for war y would i support it, yes i would whine if i have to ration my supplies for a dumb war, i support our troop because i kno some soldiers are just trying to pay their education but end up being sent to iraq n being killed however i dont support the govt for their stupid decisions
