When my daughter was in her teens, she brought home a kid I thought was ok. She dumped him within 2 weeks . Later in life she told me she got rid of him because I liked him? She used to bring home some real scumbags, the more I didn't like them the more she did? Now explain that to me.

We have liked several boyfriends but ever being good enough? Probably not.

Yes. My mother thinks my husband is great, and thought that when were dating. But I had previous boyfriends that she didn't care for at all.

I never like my sister's boyfriends so I doubt mom's would be accepting.

moms- yes, they can usually be sympathatic to the boy that is currently under the careful watch of their husbands

dads- no(usually), they hate the guy who is trying to take his little girl away.
