We were together for 2 years but I broke up with him4 or 5 years ago. I had another boyfriend since then and he is currently engaged. I emailed him and he emailed me back right away, telling me stuff like he's about to finish school and is going to get a good paying job and isn't sure he wants to be tied down with his girl etc. We emailed a couple more times, then I started seeing a new guy and told him about it saying I thought he was gonna be my next bf etc. Then he stopped emailing mesuddenly. That was a few months ago, then recently our friend we used to hang out together told me he says hi. Do you think he might still love me? What do you think this means?
P.S. I broke up with him. We almost got married and he wanted to get back together with me for like 1 or 2 years after we broke up until he got with his current gf.

you are the one who is still in love. admit it. you are looking for a sign that he still loves you because you still want him. you can't fool us. I wouldn't give you another chance either. that doesn't mean you are a bad person, just confused.

I have no idea if he still cares for you in that way. It is sometimes a case of they are glad to hear from you and know how things are with you as an old friend would be, but they really get a little jealous if they hear of your love life with someone else. It is not that they want you necessarily but it still hurts on some level to think of you with someone else. The key to any relationship is open communication and honesty. No game playing. This goes for romantic attachments and friendships or even work partnerships. Just ask sometime without too much drama or accusing, that you were curious why things had been going great with you communicating until you mentioned the prospective boyfriend. Then silence from him. Just say is that because you did not want to interfere in my new plans or was there any particular reason you stopped communicating? The worst that could happen if you ask openly in a friendly way would be that he could tell you that he does not know himself. That is life. People can be irrational. So just accept what he says, and you can go from there.

It all depends on the reason it was broken up in the first place. But definately think that he still feels something for U. Good luck.

are you going to have a normal life if currently you don,t?
You really need to grew up and stop thinking about who loves you or who does not.
Just learn how to take a full control about your life.
I don,t believe on people love( it is just a basket of hypocrisy)
