No. It is just a gimmick to sell more yogurt. But eating healthy will help you to lose weight. Don't just eat yogurt and think you will lose weight. You have to give your body what it needs to function properly in order to lose weight. Fruits, vegetables, meat or protien. Just watch you servings and drink lots of bottled water. No soda's diet or reg. That stuff is the worst thing. Good luck

Sure do if that's the only thing you eat, but expect to be carried in to Emergency on a gurney in the next 30-45 days with an intake dx of "malnutrition." Alert your local hospital to expect to be innundated by similar cases when the smoking bans come into effect as " McDonald's Dieters" are the next on the list to be excised from the ranks of American citizens.
Obvious precursor to this extrapolation is the number of crash diet infomercials on late night television and how often you get pelted with raw eggs if you are a "big girl," "large woman" or "fat man walking a Poodle" in this new age of "how dare you not fall into approval of Next Top Model viewers?"

this is just another one of the dairy campaigne's fallacies.
in fact cow milk was made for consumption by calves (baby cows), now humans. this is why so many people are lactose intolerant.
calcium is an important part of proper nutrition though, and when you have improper nutrition you may gain weight or find it hard to loose.
but calcium can be found in many non-dairy foods. such as leafy greens and whole grains.

That's a new one to me! But, I do know that Yogurt helps replenish your intestines with natural bacteria that it needs in order to produce a vitamin that many people do not know or think about called Vitamin K for proper menstrual flow, blood clotting, and prevention of internal bleeding.

No. That is actually part of the campaign to eat at least 3 dairy products in one day because they say that women who do weigh less. That all depends on what else they are eating and how they get their three dairy products in.
