ok first its not just guys who do it there are girls who do it to. some ppl get there "kicks" out of playing with other ppl. they enjoy getting what they want from others and when they get it toss the aside like trash. its unfortunate that you happened to be with one of these ppl. my suggestion is take ut as a learning experiance and watch for any signs in your next relationship.

men are really scared creatures. especially when they realize that they are not interested in their girl anymore. they are afraid of so many things. they don't know how to handle the situation because they feel sorry for the girl and at the same time, they fear how the girl will react towards the truth. some guysdon't like seeing girls cry so they just make a sudden disappearance and reappear back into your life when he feels that you have already gotten over him. it's the easy way out. most guys almost always try to avoid confrontation. you should actually feel sorry for them, poor creatures.

yeah i know what you mean. My bf told me in the beginning that he will always love me and be there for me and all that crap. But its not true because it seems like he doesnt feel that way about me anymore now. He basically doesnt talk to me anymore, but we never did break up yet... I hate it when guys say things when they don't know if its going to happen or not. Anyway, guys say things that they dont really mean it. Don't ever be too clingy to your man because once you fall in love with your guy and he dumps you, you will be deeply hurt. You need to learn to be independent too.

I really have never encountered a problem like yours. They usually think I still want to talk about the weather. I really don't think real men think like that. They just go about their business and are either with somebody or not. It isn't about being chicken. Heck, the last time I looked, none of them were chicken when it came to hitting on women, I think you are just talking about the "Cool off period"

I'm a guy and I've been dumped by 4 women. I feel your pain. I think some people are just jerks, men and women. Personally, I don't like blanket statements about "all men or women."

We only say that crap to get in ur pants or at least second base and we stay as long as were entertained but after a while when the girl say something like we should live together, or get married we know it's time to go.

Sometimes they feel that way at the time but then their feelings change. Other times they are just telling you what you want to hear to try and get in your pants.

I can tell the same about girls Natasha. This issue isn't a guys-girls issue. This is a relationnal issue.
You have to be realisitc. It happens to guys & gals.

The problem is you are gullible and not all guys are mature enough to tell you the truth.

those guys probably just want to hook up with you. that's the only reason a guy would say "i love you" that quickly in a relationship, or if theyre stupid and naive.
but to answer your question, they probably just want sex.
