No, what did you think you were buying when you purchased a salvage car, the clue is in the title, ah salvage? The right rear frame is bent enough that the car was considered totalled by another insurance company. I certainly hope you aren't carrying full coverage on this car, that would just be adding stupidity to the question. No, you can't file a claim, they can prove it was there when you purchased the car. What can you do with a car that has a bent frame and dog legs it down the road? Pay it off, and sell it. If you already own it, sell it. You'll be buying extra tires quite often with a bent frame. And by the way, you have to disclose to your buyer that a salvage title is involved in the transaction, it's the law. It will clear out serious buyers, they know better.

A few months ago I sold a car with hail damage to a man and told him and showed him the damage and I had had the car with full coverage on it but I didn't feel like the car was worth the $5000 damage so I kept the check and sold that car as is. The guy that bought the car from me almost went to jail for having turned it in to his insurance company. They called and asked me about the car that I sold, I told them what I had done. In as few word as I can tell you is don't even think about it or you might find yourself going to spend some time away. When you buy salvage that is just that salvage it also means that you bought it as is. This now is your problem and you will have to pay to fix it out of your pocket. A insurance company has already paid for it once.

And what did you think "Salvage title" meant? No, your insurance isn't going to compensate you because you bought a salvage titled car without doing a thorough inspection before purchase.
You options are to fix it, or live with it, or use it as a parts vehicle, which is usually what one gets a vehicle with a salvage title for in the first place.

Insurance is to get you back where you were before a covered loss. Is the vehicle on your policy?
If the frame is just bent and you did not have an accident it wont be covered.
If you were hit then report a claim if you want it covered. Just make sure the damage is worth the claim expecially if you have a deductible.
Ask your agent for further help, and don't file a claim unless you are sure, sometimes they raise your rates all depends.

What on earth did you think you were gonna get when you bought a car with a salvage title? It has obviously been in a heavy accident! THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULDNT BUY SALVAGE VEHICLES!
Your insurance will absolutely not cover this. This happened well before you were covered under your policy (and dont try to tell them otherwise b/c they will have the accident that made it salvage on record as well as the damages)
Geesh.. you made your bed.. now sleep in it

Drive it. You cannot make a claim on your insurance. It is not a covered item. Haveing someone else look at it will open up a whole big mess. They will not touch it unless they do everything correctly. (BIG BUCKS)
Unless it is a safety issue or a tire wear problem, just enjoy the big savings you got by buying a repaired car.

No !!
Sorry but if your honest, your agent will tell you no way. If your not honest, its fraud and you could go to jail ( and they tell me the food in jail is horrible )
As to what to do with it, take it to a frame shop. Perhaps the frame could be repaired. Consider just driving it to get your money out of it. How bad is it bent, is it eating up the tires, is it shifting on curves? Sell it for parts, donate it and take a tax deduction.

With salvage vehicles, you accept them 'as is' which means you accept with any and all faults. Insurance does not cover for existing damage. If it's not a safety issue, live with it. If it is a safety issue you'll have to take it to a repair shop and get them to fix it at your expence

Insurance isn't a maintenance contract. It will not, and cannot be expected to, repair any damage that existed prior to the policy.
