My boyfriend was suposed to call me the other night and he never did and when I went into town I saw his car parked at Burger King, and I thought, weird because he should be working, so I called him and he said he was working, and I was sitting there, staring at his car and all I could think to say was "Are you lying" or something to that effect I don't remember exactly. Anyway, that didn't go over very well because he forgot to mention to me that he parks his car there and the guy he works for picks him up because they aren't working in town. Soooo....OppssSSS! But I know for a fact that if it had been the other way around he would have done more then ask me if i was lying he would have flipped out, and most likely went in to make sure I wan't there. I text him and told him how verrrrry sorry I was and that I messed up and was wrong to assume he was lying. But two and 1/2 days later and he still wont talk to me??? Was I that wrong or his he being really stuborn??

pinnocinno er whatever, that made no sence..and yes we do have trust issues because he HAS lied to me in the past so YES i do have a hard time trusting him, maybe i should have mentioned that before

idk what his problem is. all you were was concerned, and you have every right to be. thats part of being in a relationship. you were not wrong at all. he must be over reacting or something. sorry and hope everything works out ok!

NO!!! You arent stubborn!!!! The problem is that u might have of lost his trust!!!! When you called him well everyone never wants to get hurt so we say things that just get messed up!!Talk to him go to his house or invite him to lunch and talk about the problem.He will get offended that u dont trust him but just keep talking to him about it!!! A relationship also is about communication,so u are not wrong!! Its just u made a honest mistake.... i mean we arent perfect we are just HUMANS!!! So just talk about be soft about the topic dont over do it tell him how u feel and what was going through ur mind and ask him about what he felt when u asked him that question!!! SO JUST TALK!!!!!!

That is because he was cheating and he has not came up with a good like yet. Leave the loser and get another boyfriend. You need to be more aggressive and walked in there and seen for yourself and then if he was or wasn't you would know.I apologize, if you ask a man a question and he is getting defensive, then he was doing something he was not supposed to be doing? So like i said before, leave him and get someone else, Don't let him treat you like that!

Well, it is wierd. For one thing, Burger King parking lot is for patrons & that could have easily slipped your mind becuz, hey, it is Out-of-the norm. If he is gonna be soo stubborn to not talk to you (& him knowing that hurts you).... may I just tell you, since you are only boyfriend/girlfriend, move on!?! You're gonna want someone who loves you enuf to be able to communicate better, kiss & make up!

And, in this corner, we have common sense, weighing in on ever issue, we hope, with perfect sense. In this corner, standing up for insecurity, we have jealousy, weighing in when ever we shoulda, coulda, remained silent.
Common sense was yelling for us to be quiet, but jealousy got ahold of the throat pipes and screw both of you up.
The trouble here is that, given the moment you described, most of us would have felt the same. But, most of us would have waited to confront him after waiting for a couple of hours and he doesn't show. THEN, you shoulda asked if someone stole his car.
Common sense would have triumphed and that woulda been 2 and a half days ago. Learn your lesson, chita. Contrition required.

you werent wrong at all if it happened just like that....he should have told you he parks his car there so you dont freak out! i think he is way overreacting, and you are right if the shoe was on the other foot he would have way blown up on you

He is probably really hurt that you thought that he was lying...but I don't think that you were in the wrong...you just went about it the wrong way

To me it sounds like you just have to be able to trust him and if he says he is somewhere then you have to be able to take his word for it. The only way a relationship can last is with trust.
