Yes, at times, everyone feels lonely and yearns for someone else to be around. It's just like being depressed or happy; we all have felt these simple emotions. They are just a part of the human life.
I think some people confuse loneliness with "aloneness." A lot of people think that fact that they have plenty of "aloneness" time (the time that they spend with themselves in quiet contemplation, in watching a film alone, in playing a solo game, in reading a book alone, etc) means that they are lonely, when they usually aren't.
Everyone feels lonely a times, but everyone also feels the need to be alone and have the occasional "me time."

Yeah..it's how you deal with it. I mean there are times when I feel lonely because I can't find any of my friends to go out with. However, I just go out shopping! LOL or read a book. It all depends on how you deal with lonliness. Don't look at it as a bad thing, but as time to reflect on yourself and treating yourself..For example, getting your nails done, your hair, and so forth. If you are lonely..make friends or spend time with your family!

yes of course. You won't be able to appreciate good things when you cannot experience loneliness.

Absolutely. EVERYONE feels lonely once in awhile.
Even those in relationships get lonely. Hell, I'm even lonely in a crowd of people, just because I don't have that special someone.
It's something that's going to happen, you just have to learn to deal with it in a positive way. Try to cherish your alone time, instead of wishing it away.

for some people, unfortunately, yes. but there are things one can do to make it easier, like finding more acquaintances and having hobbies and other goals in life.

it definitely is. if you were always happy, then happy wouldn't have a description because it wouldn't have any comparison. just like the word "late", if no one was ever late, then there wouldn't be such a word.
