I can practially tell when shes in a good mood by when she will come walking out of my bedroom from her little bed...and just twisting her bed alittle and curling upside down on the carpet..and just rubbing her head like a snack and then burst out a small Meow, and i know she wants me to rub her tummy and neck each time too....is this normal?...Another question is ..when i let her out on the patio...she will look out to the woods and let out a quick almost silence meow...just staring into the woods and sometimes the sky...what in the world is she doing??? and for information on what she is...shes almost a 6 month female kitten non-spayed calico/Himalayan mix, and shes one of the cutest little kittens i have ever seen..and I do want to breed her btw.

the noise your cat makes when looking out into the woods is called "chattering". They make that noise when they see prey.

That seems so cute of your kitten carrying her bed, I do not know if this is consider to be a normal thing for a kitten to carry her own bed, but from what I had observed from my male Himalayan when he was a small kitten he would pick things up in his mouth and carry it with him where ever he went and then the elder cat which is a female calico of 9 years now would simply swipe the tiny object from him in play.

My male cat still has his small whisper like Meow yet when he is in need for some good old fashion human attention, he also has different tones when he Meows as well, sometimes I think he has Siamese in him for when he comes inside he is calling out for me from room to room..

So I would say it is normal for cats to communicate with us humans.

There may be something your kitten is seeing that you can not see or she is just simply enjoying the sights and sounds of nature by telling you so.

If you do decide to go ahead to breed her make sure she has all of her vaccinations and also make sure her future Tom is also updated and free of any Feline AIDS and other diseases.

That's what's fun about kittens - to notice their little individual ways - each one is so different - and I believe it's all purrfectly normal. Staring into the woods and sky - she may be recognizing that she's part of all that - the wildcat nature that still exists under her friendly domesticated kittenness. She sounds so sweet!
I agree with April P about breeding though - there are so many millions of dear little kittens and cats already that never have anyone to take them in and care for them in this world. I know that's not what you asked about though - but please consider instead adopting another cat who wouldn't have a home otherwise. You seem like a very attentive and loving owner a cat would be lucky to have!

Well I think that's pretty normal behavior for a kitten and it's not a good idea to breed your cat. I'd make an appt to get her spayed she might start going into heat and make sure the male you get her is neutered. It causes more health problems if you don't spay or neuter your cats.

She meows to show a sign of affection. Cats always are looking around she is a kitten and her little mind is wondering. She sounds like a little cutie!

Yes, it's normal. She just is happy that's all. I agree with the other one who posted, Please don't breed her. There are enough unwanted animals in the world, lets not add to the poplulation. Please get her spayed. She will thank you for it.

People should not breed their pets! I cant stress this enough to people! Pets are for pets... Leave the breeding up to the professionals!
