Just pay attention to the vibe you get. If the girl likes you, you'll know. Don't wait too long if the signals are there, y6ou don't want her to think you dont like her. If you're young (since I don't know ur age), 3 dates should be good. By then you should know if she's really digging you.

It just depends on who is in charge in the realationship if it is her then let her pick and if it is you trust your heart to tell you when the time is right dont rush into anything

There is not really TEXTBOOK ANSWER to your timing question.
(Trying to keep from sounding overly "general", but you will know when the time is right.) Each person / couple "runs at their own speed."
