Honda Odyssey, mini van. The upper level, It will surprise you. I had driven BMWs for several years and ended up needing a vehicle that would accommodate more. If you ever drove a BMW you will understand that there is nothing made that drives as well as a BMW, This mini van comes pretty close. Around town I get about 18 to 20 and out on the road I get 24 to 26 miles to a gallon. My son is a doctor and so is his wife they can drive what ever they want to, I let my son drive mine and they went and bought one also. Even if you don't buy one you should go and drive one anyways as it will surprise you how car like it drives and how super comfortable it is. I will leave you with one last nicety, If it become necessary for some one to get in the back to take care of maybe a child you are able to walk back between the seats, this is really nice when you are traveling and it is raining out side.

Newer Explorers have 3 rows of seats. I drive an older one and we need something new as well, we can't take anyone that doesn't live with us in the car for there is no more room. I refuse to be a mini van mom. My son and I were talking about it a few months ago and my daughter piped in and asked what a mini van was and he said, " mom's next car." I was not thrilled with this idea, but the KIA mini van looks nice and has a lot of safety features, it is really the only one I looked at on line because it looked nice in the commercial.

who the heck mentioned an explorer??? YUCK, very bad ratings with safety. don't put kids in that...major roll over there. 3 car seats, huh...odysessy is great, toyota sienna is great. comes in 8pass. don't get an SUV where you're putting kids in the very very back of the vehicle. to close to the rear window, and very tight to get into. If you want to go domestic, try the suburban... that thing is gynormous
