I have heard that a person that is diabetic can have itching, but are there other conditions that can cause it, ? I dont mean like skin conditions, but illness or diseases?

Dry skin, psoriasis, obesity, pregnancy, weight gain, edema, sometimes reactions to some medications can without hives...itching isn't a symptom of diabetes. Diabetes is one of the silent killers meaning it can have no symptoms. If you are worried about being a diabetic have your glycohemoglobin checked.

Kidney failure; as the toxins in your blood rise, you experience itching.
