well, my sister has been smelling very bad for the past 16 years. so i will need a lot of help from you guys to tell her to go wash her self. please help me!

Buy her a nice smelling liquid wash, or a perfume or a deodrant. Talk to her about how nice it feels if someone smells good. Try to get her more compliments when she has first tried her new liquid wash/perfume/deo !

Start out by telling her that you love her very much, & that you have something very important to tell her. Then break the news in the most calm, kind & caring way that you can.
Offer her some tips on personal hygene as well such as more frequent baths or showers, & stronger deoderants.
I suggest that you refrain from telling her that she has been smelly for the past 16 years. I would just let her think that this is something that only came to your attention recently.
It may be hard for her to face every person that she has come into contact over the past 16 years otherwise. ;-)

the previous answer sounds good. try to tell her in the best possible way, making her feel that you are telling her because you love her. but i suggest that you do it in a letter to avoid embarrassing your sister. it would give her a chance to think about what you said without being defensive because what you will say will definitely be offending no matter how you to tone it down.

tell her in serious way dont joke at her about it my brother used to never wear deoderant. he would walk around in the afternoon smelling like fresh chopped onions. i used to joke with him about it and he thought i was trying to be funny so i had to sit him down
