I believe in keeping the past in the past... I never bring up exes or past crushes because I do not think that it is necessary... Every time that I a around him, he may say something about his ex... it is beginning to get on my nerves... we have only dated for two weeks.

No.. he is not in contact with her... the second day that we were going out, he pointed her out and said how he was the "best thing that has ever happened to her". He is beginning to make me feel uncomfortable which is unfortunate because I like him.

Yea but... what really got on my nerves is that he gave me a bunch of poems that he wrote for "her". And, I do not want to be made into a fool... I'm not sure. I still can't believe that he gave me her "gifts"... a lot of them were really personal about how he wants to loose his virginity to her.
BTW, we are both in HS. I'm 17 and he is 16.

Just ask him and note his expression. ull know if he's lying right...........but its not nice to suspect in a relationship. Know what , if u love him truly , he'll love u allright

Girl, he still wants his ex. He is prolly with u to make her jealous. Kick him to the curb. Here is a quick list of HOW you can tell he is not over her: (two or more combined is a definite sign)
-he still stares, checks her out, looks over at her.
-he still talks about her whether positive or negative.
-he still brags about her or tells people she is his ex.
-he gets nervous around her.
-he kept stuff given by her.
-he is in contact with her.
-he smiles and blushes when she talks to him.
-he is turned on by her.
-he kisses you while looking at her.
-he is around where she is or might be.
-he gets jealous of her.
-you just have a feeling.
Don't ever be the one settled for. Always be first choice of a man.
Also, remember that men have pride and if she dumped him, he might want to make her want him so he can get the last laugh.

They talk about her a lot, also they want to keep been friends and they call her for her Birthday and stuff like that, also the way they talk about the person. Does he still in contact with her?
