Thank you SA Writer for your answer...
The fight with Ernie is the "What is my name?" fight. He taunted him verbally, and punished him.

But it's not the one that I'm looking for.

In that one, he swings his arm outward in a large circular motion .. like a big wind fan.

He did that to Richard Dunn, a British fighter. The ref subsequently stopped the fight, Dunn had no chance.

Ali did it more than a couple times, as early as Cleveland Williams or Ernie Terrell. He got mean a couple times during his early Muslim phase at criticism over his name change and viciously taunted a couple opponents. Good question, I'd actually have to check the tapes to be more accurate on this one.

I believe that was the fight against Ernie Terrell in 1967. Terrell refused to call him Muhammed Ali, claiming his name was Clay. Ali taunted him, swinging his arm and yelling "What's my name...Uncle Tom". Ali won 13 of 15 rounds. Most fight experts agree that Ali could have KO'd Terrell early in the fight but didn't so he could punish him.

Like blogbaba said he did do this on more than one occasion against numerous fighters. He did it against Patterson, Terrell I can't think of all the others. Ray Leonard used this move also.
