What does refresh file manager button do?

In File Manager: What does the Refresh File Mgr button do?
There is no Save button anymore. Is this it now?

Where is the save button in Geocities.com File Manager? Does anybody know?

refresh merely updates the view you are currently looking at. For instance, if you added a file to the folder while it was open, clicking refresh would show that file (along with all the others.)
