DVD players will not use the COAX type output because of its lack of bandwith. BUT! If you buy a DVD/VCR combo, these units have the coax input and the S-video output. If you want to output from the coax to the S-video, you will have to find a DVD/SuperVHS combo. The superVHS system is mainly backed by JVC so try locating one of those if you want to convert from coax to svideo. If you just want to have those connectors and do not need to convert, then a normal DVD/VCR combo will work fine. Good luck!

DVD players usually have NO inputs.

You can find DVD recorders/players with coax (RF) input in all major electronic stores.

Almost all players/DVD recorders these days have composite, S-Video, and component output.
