When my boyfriend and I hooked up, we had a really rough go. We have known eachother very well for 11 years This other girl liked him a lot, and he admitted he liked her too at one point. as far as I know, we both told him to do what he wanted. When we ended up together, he told me that he wouldn't talk to her for the time being, just so I would feel comfortable and feel like it was a stable relationship and I agreed. She on the other hand did NOT agree, obviously. She had been trying to get in between us for awhile leaving him little love posts on his myspace and emailing him ALL the time! We have moved in together now, and I feel that what we have is a completely stable relationship and I believe fully that it always will be. I dont want him to lose a friendship with a girl that at least knows that he wouldn't EVER be with her. Should I tell him its okay to have a friendship with her still or should I let it run it its own course and they can decide on their own?

I think it would be okay for them to remain friends as long as she knows that their relationship will not evolve past that stage. But if she can't handle it then she needs to move on.

Well........
You mention that she's been leaving love posts etc so it is obvious that she still cares for your man. If he's already comfortable with the situation as is i think its best you leave things alone. There is no point adding unnecessary drama to your relationship. Its likely that she will try to make moves and put your boyfriend in an uncomfortable position.
The other girl should already know by now that you and you man are in a committed relationship, but apparently its not stopping her from emailing and contacting a man who is in a relationship....

DONT DO IT!! You can trust him all you want but do NOT trust her do NOT! I have had BAD experiences with my boyfriend having "just friends" and i felt the exact same way you do now, that nothing would ever happen but wait until you get in a fight and oh what do you know she's there, and then you never know what will happen next when is judgment his blurred. Just dont do it..okay, no matter how much you love and trust him its not him its her

I am going to say something very strong... Please do not get hurt.. I think you might consider letting the whole relationship go. I have a probelm that he needs to talk to this other woman that he has feelings for. I think this situation is going to hurt you. He's not fair to you for you to make this decision. If he really cared how you feel he would just stop. Prepare for heart break.

You are being the bigger person by wondering whether you should tell him to do that or not. But I truly belive some girls are vicious, and I think if you tell him to do that, you'll be throwing him in her arms. Don't do it. Let it run its own course. Hopefully, the other girl will understand.

If i was in ur spot for this i would be very protective, but if its a stable relationship, i would let him talk to her a litl. but i would check every once in a while to make sure shes not doin anything flirty or anything to get him turned on and stuff. just make sure he doesnt go overboard with it, but u shud let me him talk to her sometimes.
