Does your dog actually HAVE tracheal collapse? If it does, it neds to be seen by a vet and you need to get medications to help with it (and maybe surgery). IF the dog doesn't, nutrition is not going to stop it if it is going to develop. You may be hearing 'reverse sneezing' rather than a trachea problem and the only way nutrition can help with that is if the dog's palatte is being aggravated by allergins (my neighbor's chihuahua honks more/only when she eats corn based things).

Have the vet examine your dog for trachea problems to set your mind at ease. I have 5 chihuahuas and not one has a trachea problem. I grew up with a poodle/silky terrier mix and she had a trachea problem.

You shouldnt need extra vitamins for your dog if you feed a good high quality dog food. And no, that doesnt mean pedigree or Eukanuba, Im talking really good stuff with no byproducts

I feed both my dogs Canine Caviar: Lamb and Pearl Millet.

Also to prevent tracheal collapse, you should walk you dog with a harness, not a collar.
