Yes, but be gentle. The stitches are designed not to come out easily. If you go scrubbing, you might pull them out.

Stitches should be kept dry for at least a week so they won't get infected. Try spot washing and avoid the stitch area. Maybe have someone else wash your hair so they can see which area to avoid.

I would think you could wash your hair, be sure to rinse it well so you dont leave any soap residue which may cause infection if the wound hasnt yet healed 100%. Avoid to much rubbing around the area to minimize irritation. If your worried about it, wash with an antibacterial shampoo this will allow you to wash your hair while keeping the wound clean.

You can wash your hair, but make sure you use a shampoo that is clean rinsing. Nothing that has conditioner in it. Don't use hot water or it may bleed. Just use warm water and wash and rinse quick and make sure you dry the area with a warm hair dryer, not hot. I wouldn't comb or brush over the area.

im sure you can do it gently but honestly i would advise just leaving it alone for a week and wearing a hair rap or hat or something... that way you wont bother the stitches and your hair will regain some of its natural oils back. your decision though

Probably not a good idea. Try taking a damp washcloth and avoiding the stitches, rub your scalp, it should help some.

Usually you can wash your hair two days after sutures.
I was able to and I had many staples (not sutures). You can
call your doctors office and who ever answers can help you.
If you wash your hair be careful and don't pull on your hair when you brush it.

Yes, but don't scratch or be rough. Use a mild non-perfumed hair shampoo. Like baby shampoo.

try getting some of that "dry shampoo" stuff. its a powder and it helps to absorb some of the excess oils. no scrubbing or rinsing involved.
