please help me with vista?

i can't open several programs on (not mine) vista-it's my friend's computer, and i promised him to install some programs-he's not a big pro in the computers anyway, i can't open wmaudioredist.exe and NERO!!! i read system req's on download.com-it's vista compatible so can somebody help me with vista or not? if yes, thank u if not- why did u click here?

Well NERO 7 is vista approved but not any earlier versions.check http://nero.com for the details.
As far as wmaudioredist.exe I do not belive it has gone beyond NT / XP level just yet.

If the software was not written for VISTA it will not work! You cannot use XP software in VISTA unless it is written on the box that it is for both systems.

Go to the Manufacturers site and see if VISTA fixes/drivers are available!

the simple answer is dont buy vista to begin with.
